The Thunderbird 40 is a popular model for enthusiasts of “classic pattern” aerobatics. It is often compared to other classic designs like the “Ultimate Kaos” due to its similar excellent flying qualities. There was also a control line (C/L) version called the Veco Thunderbird, designed by Bob Palmer, which has also been re-released by Brodak as a kit.
