Description

This is a reproduction canopy for the Grumman F8F made by Bates Plans. we use either .040 or .060 PTEG to make all of our canopies.

A little about the model for reference only:

The Jerry Bates F8F Bearcat is a scale model aircraft kit of the Grumman F8F Bearcat, a fighter aircraft used by the United States Navy during World War II. The kit is available in 1/5 scale with a wingspan of 86 inches and a length of 67 inches. It’s designed for 4 cu. in. (65cc) or larger engines and has a weight range of 28 to 35 lbs. The kit options include Short Kit, Completion Kit, and Full Kit, with the Full Kit including all laser-cut wood pieces and additional wood needed for the build.
