Parkzone P-47 Replacement Cowl

This Replacement cowl fits Parkzone P-47. The cowl has closer to scale shaped cylinders molded into the inlet recess and the cowl flaps are opened a bit to add detail to the model. The cowl kit requires assembly and painting. The cowl is made in two pieces to keep the plastic as thick as possible.
Model cement will melt the plastic and can deform the seam, use either Polyurethane glue or epoxy to join the two halves.
As with any plastic, avoid heavy wet coats of paint. Assembly is straight forward so no instructions are available.
The firewall size is hard to measure since it is a obloged oval .
So : at the firewall it is 6 inches tall and 4 3/4 inch wide,
The width at its widest point is 4 3/4 wide.
The length from the firewall to the front is 4 3/4 long .
It has been reported that this cowl also fits the Corsair S
