As of September 3rd, 2024, we have purchased all of the Hostetler molds from fibertech-n-more. As we move everything up to Michigan and get everything set up with material suppliers etc. we will be taking pre-orders by calling us at 866-457-3777 ext. 2. until we get all of the products put on our website. We will continue to produce the same Quality that Rick and Brenda have started and perfected over the years. We will also be producing new parts made with our 3D scanner in both glass and 3D printed, our scanner allows us to make one off parts at a reasonable price that won’t break the bank.

Description

This is a reproduction canopy for the Gee Bee R2 made by Wendell Hostetler. we use either .040 or .060 PTEG to make all of our canopies.

A little about the model for reference only:

The Wendell Hostetler Gee Bee R2 is a scale model aircraft kit of the Granville Brothers Gee Bee R2, a racing biplane from the Golden Age of Air Racing. The kit includes laser-cut wood parts and is available in different scales, with the 25% scale version being one of the most popular. It features ailerons, elevator, rudder, and throttle controls for precise maneuvering. The model is designed for 3 to 5 cu. in. engines and has a wingspan of 80 inches and a length of 56 inches.
