Description
This is a reproduction cowl for the Fokker DR-1 made by Balsa USA. we use a combination of 2~6 ounce e-weave fiberglass and west systems epoxy and 3m filllers to produce a high quality scale product. Please note that as in any non-bagged fiberglass process, minor imperfections such as fiberglass overlaping areas and brush marks may show through from the inside as can be seen in the picture.

The Balsa USA 1/3 Scale Fokker DR-1 Triplane is a scale model aircraft kit of the Fokker DR-1, a German WW-I triplane fighter. The kit includes balsa wood, bass wood, and plywood parts, and is designed for 3 to 4.9 cubic inch engines or 50 to 80cc engines. It features ailerons, elevator, rudder, and throttle controls for precise maneuvering. The model has a wingspan of 93.75 inches, a fuselage length of 74.5 inches, and a height of 36.5 inches. It also comes with full-size plans, a photo instruction book, jig & die-cut parts, pre-bent wire landing gear, and a fiberglass cowl.
