Description
This is a reproduction cowl for the Spad XIII made by Balsa USA. we use a combination of 2~6 ounce e-weave fiberglass and west systems epoxy and 3m filllers to produce a high quality scale product. Please note that as in any non-bagged fiberglass process, minor imperfections such as fiberglass overlaping areas and brush marks may show through from the inside as can be seen in the picture.

The Balsa USA 1/6 Scale Spad XIII is a scale model aircraft kit of the SPAD S. XIII, a French WW-I biplane fighter. The kit includes balsa wood, bass wood, and plywood parts, and is designed for .35 to .40 2-stroke engines or .40 to .52 4-stroke engines. It features ailerons, elevator, rudder, and throttle controls for precise maneuvering. The model has a wingspan of 55 inches and a fuselage length of 40 inches. It also comes with full-size plans, a photo instruction book, jig & die-cut parts, pre-bent wire landing gear and struts with hardwood fairings, and scale exhaust pipes, louver panels, radiator shutters, valve cover blisters, and more.
